Karachi has introduced a new digital system to
getting a domicile faster and easier. Now, residents can receive their domiciles within two days for a fee of just Rs 660.
This new system removes the long wait times and corruption common in the old process.
The Digital Domicile Desk was officially launched by Commissioner Karachi, Syed Hassan Naqvi, at the Korangi Deputy Commissioner Office. With this system, people can apply for their domiciles without facing unnecessary delays.
One of the key features of this new service is the upcoming door-to-door delivery option. Commissioner Naqvi mentioned that the government plans to offer this across all districts, making it more convenient for people to get their documents delivered straight to their homes.
This new approach is expected to greatly improve the experience for citizens, ensuring that they no longer have to face long lines or deal with any corrupt practices.
Karachi’s digital domicile system is a step towards a more transparent and efficient process for all.
